School Update 

To the students and families of MRS, 

As part of our commitment to upholding the Truth and Reconciliation Commision’s (TRC) 94 Calls to Action, students at Maple Ridge School came together this morning for our Orange Shirt Day Assembly. 

In addition to singing the Song of the Land by Susan Aglukark, and student led acknowledgements of the land, students were able to engage in a “Story Walk” in our outdoor classroom to the book Walking Together. This story beautifully braids together the strengths of Indigenous and non-Indigenous ways of knowing to nurture respectful and responsible relationships to benefit all.

School Fees  

School supplies - fees will be added to your MyCBE account Oct. 16, 2023. 

Lunch Supervision - Please log into your MyCBE account online and register for lunch supervision. The fee will be added Oct. 16, 2023. You can pay monthly if you would like. No child is ever denied access to an education in the CBE because of an inability to pay fees. Fee waiver applications can be filled out through your MyCBE/PowerSchool Account.  

MRS Spirit Wear  

Order your Maple Ridge School hooded sweatshirts, hats, and t-shirts* today! Students are encouraged to wear their MRS t-shirt or other spirit wear for field studies, special events and Friday's.
