First Day of Classes
The school office is open to parents on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025.
Grade 1-4 Families will receive a welcome email from the classroom teacher on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Our first day of classes is Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Please note, Kindergarten will be operating with staggered entry for the first 2 days of school.

- Last name beginning A – L Sept. 2 & Sept. 3 from 9:00 – 10:00
- Last name beginning M – Z Sept. 2 & Sept. 3 from 10:30 – 11:30
- PM Kindergarten –
- Last name beginning A – L Sept. 2 & Sept. 3 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm
- Last name beginning M – Z Sept 2 & 3 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm
There will be NO BUSSING for K students during staggered entry dates: Sept. 2 & 3.
First full day morning or afternoon of Kindergarten is Thursday, September 4, 2025
Assigned Teachers
Teachers will be sending home a welcome email to their students on Friday, August 29, 2025. This email will let your child know who their teacher is and where to meet on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 2.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten plays an important role in engaging young children as active participants, building knowledge about themselves and the social and natural words.
Lunch Supervision
Lunch supervision is available for all students in Grades 1 – 4, for students who stay at school. All families must register their children in the lunchroom program. Preregister using MyCBE account.

Yellow School Bus Transportation
Our yellow school bus routes are designed over the summer using the addresses submitted before June's pre-registration deadline. Get ready for some exciting journeys!

School Supplies
Maple Ridge School will provide basic supplies needed for learning including items such as pencils, erasers, workbooks and crayons. Students are asked to have an appropriately sized backpack as well as a pair of shoes for indoor use.

Off-Site Activities
