Dear MRS Students and Families
As we wrap up the final week of the school year, we find ourselves reflecting on a year filled with exploration, discovery, and growth. From hands-on experiments and STEM challenges to field studies and innovation showcases, our students have truly embodied the spirit of scientific curiosity and learning.
This last week is all about celebration—of hard work, accomplishments, and the many moments of wonder that defined our year. While we wrap up final projects and prepare for summer break, we also take time to recognize the resilience, creativity, and teamwork your children have shown across every grade and classroom.
Thank you for being such engaged and supportive partners in your child’s learning journey. Below, you’ll find important updates and reminders as we close out another exciting chapter at Maple Ridge School.
To those moving on, we wish you the absolute best on your next adventure. And to everyone continuing on at Maple Ridge, we are excited to welcome you again in the fall.
Have a wonderful summer!

SAVE THE DATE – Casino Fundraiser October 2 and 3, 2025
Ok, ok, we know you're ready for summer and likely NOT ready to think about the next school year, but this coming school year is a Casino year! We wanted to plant the seed now that we will need 40 volunteers to help out Oct 2 &3 so you can mark it on your calendars. It's a "high return on investment" fundraiser, as your time equates to $300-$350 raised per hour you volunteer.
Casino funds from previous years have paid for things our kids love, including classroom technology, sensory items, Smartboards and the Gaga Ball Pit.
No experience is necessary, the roles are simple and training is provided. Anyone 18 and over can help us out and we'll be volunteering at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino.
To let us know you're interested or ask us any questions, please email mapleridgecouncil@gmail.com. Use this link to get the date in your calendar so you don't forget! Sign-up sheets will be sent out in September.
Have a safe and fun summer, and we'll see you in September!
Reminder to Pay Your Fees
If you have not checked your MyCBE account recently, please take a moment to log in and review any outstanding fees. This platform is where families manage payments for school field trips and activities.
Please remember that field trips and activities are cost neutral, meaning the school does not make a profit from them. If unpaid fees continue to accumulate, we may need to reduce the number of trips and activities offered throughout the year. Thank you for your understanding and support!
