School Update
To the students and families of MRS,
This past week, Grade 4 students were able to delve into the exciting world of science through engaging in design thinking projects. These projects offered opportunities for developing skills of empathy, ideation, researching, prototyping and communicating. Throughout the experience, students engaged in hands-on learning that encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A big thank you to all families that were able to attend this event and help our students share their wonderful work. Great job Grade 4 students!
We also want to clearly update our families on the last day of school, which is Thursday, June 27th. This day is an early dismissal and will go from 8:55am – 12:35pm and is a PM Kindergarten Day. The final day for AM Kindergarten is June 26th.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Celebrating Acceptance & Diversity this Pride Month
The Calgary Board of Education strives to create an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment every day for our students, families, and staff.
June marks the beginning of Pride Month, a time to recognize the pursuit of equality and rights for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. During Pride Month, we can recognize the valuable contributions individuals of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities have made to history and society. This year, we reaffirm our commitment to creating safe and caring learning and work environments for 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff.
With students, families, employees and our communities, we are working together to build positive learning environments for student success. Every student should have the opportunity to succeed personally and academically regardless of background, identity or personal circumstances.
