School Update

To the students and families of MRS,

We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Volunteer Appreciation today. It was a wonderful gathering where our Grade 3 & 4 students delivered a touching performance as a token of appreciation for our amazing volunteers.

The dedication and hard work of all our volunteers truly make Maple Ridge School the exceptional place it is. Without your invaluable contributions, many programs and activities, such as field trips, residencies, major performances, extra physical education equipment, and a well-stocked technology inventory, would not be possible.

Your support makes a difference.

With gratitude,

Maple Ridge Staff

Lost and Found

The lost and found rack in the south hallway is overflowing with items waiting to be reunited with their owners. From jackets to water bottles, books to lunchboxes, the collection is growing by the day. If you've misplaced something recently, now's the perfect time to come and take a look during school hours. Who knows, your missing item might be waiting for you! Don't miss out on the chance to reclaim your belongings and tidy up our school community. Visit the lost and found area as soon as you can.

Fees Reminder

We encourage all families to take a moment to review your myCBE account for any outstanding fee payments. When doing this, please ensure you look at all tabs (top of page) for your students and use the “Fee, Waivers & Service Registration” to access all school-based fees. If you need Your support with this is greatly appreciated.

Celebrating Acceptance & Diversity this Pride Month

The Calgary Board of Education strives to create an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment every day for our students, families, and staff.

June marks the beginning of Pride Month, a time to recognize the pursuit of equality and rights for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. During Pride Month, we can recognize the valuable contributions individuals of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities have made to history and society. This year, we reaffirm our commitment to creating safe and caring learning and work environments for 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff.

With students, families, employees and our communities, we are working together to build positive learning environments for student success. Every student should have the opportunity to succeed personally and academically regardless of background, identity or personal circumstances.
