School Update To the students and families of MRS, Wow!!! We ended this week with our Third Annual Science Olympics, and we could not be happier with the incredible community support and student engagement. Our opening ceremony kicked off with a Piggie and Gerald crisis where Gerald was without his Elephant Toothpaste. Thanks to the quick-thinking action of 4 Maple Ridge Students, all necessary ingredients were found and delivered to Piggie in the gym so that Elephant Toothpaste could be created. For families interested in trying this experiment at home, check out here. For the best results, use 12% Hydrogen Peroxide. For our closing ceremony, a student from each of the Olympic Rings was encapsulated in a bubble mixture. If families are interested in this experiment, the following is needed, and more information can be found here:
Lastly, we want to share a big thank you to all our parent volunteers who made this event possible, and to the Parent Association for the snacks and lunch that were provided. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend. Maple Ridge Staff Upcoming Important Dates
